24 – 35 Day Menstrual Cycle
Your menstrual cycle ranges anywhere from 24-35 days. 28 days is the most common length, but everybody is different.
Within these 24-35 days you will go through the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle: The menstrual phase, the follicular phase, ovulation and the luteal phase.
It tells you the physical and mental challenges women face during each one of their menstrual phases and what can be done during each phase to best support them and help them feel their best!

The Menstrual Phase
The Menstrual phase typically lasts 3-7 days. This is when your body starts and stops bleeding.

The Follicular Phase
Lasts 7-10 days and typically overlaps with your menstrual phase.

The Ovulatory Phase
Lasts 3-4 days.
- Estrogen at its peak
- Higher libido (sex drive)
- Feeling more social, fun and flirty
- Most fertile
The Luteal Phase
The luteal phase is the longest phase of your cycle lasting 10-14 days.
- Progestrone is dominant
- Testosterone levles rise
- Mood swings
- Irritable and easily triggered
- Food cravings
- Acne/ breakouts
- Bloating/ swelling
- Heightened emotions
- Sensitive
- Breast tenderness
- Low energy/ low motivation
